【摘要】:ThisCodeprovidesstandarddirectionsandrulesforconductingandreportingperformancetestsofwatercooled,steamsurfacecondensers,hereafterreferredtoascondensers.ThisCodeprovidesexplicittestproceduresforperformingareasonablyaccurate,pragmaticlevelofperformancetesting.Ifhigherlevelsofaccuracyaredesired,thealternativetest,describedinNonmandatoryAppendixA,canbeperformedinlieuofthetest.Acceptancetestingisusedtodeterminecompliancewithcontractualobligationsandcanbeincorporatedintocommercialagreements.ThetestshallbeconsideredanASMECodetestonlyifthetestprocedurescomplywiththisCode.TherulesandinstructionsincludedinthisCodeareforthecondenser.Thetestdoesnotassesstheperformanceofanyoftheauxiliaryapparatusassociatedwiththecondenser.Foranyrelatedequipmentcomponents,refertootherASMEPerformanceTestCodes.
